—NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING—
REGARDING PETITION TO VACATE A CERTAIN ALLEY IN  THE TOWNSITE OF IRWIN, COLORADO

The Board of County Commissioners of Gunnison County, Colorado, will hold a public hearing regarding a petition filed by Sinclair Buckstaff, Jr. to vacate an alley in the Townsite of Irwin, Colorado.  The alley that the petitioner seeks to have vacated is described as follows:
That entire portion of the alleyway in Block 6 that abuts lots 3, 4, 5, and 14, 15, 16, Townsite of Irwin, County of Gunnison, State of Colorado.
The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2007, at 1:30 p.m., at the Commissioners Room, Gunnison County Courthouse, 200 East Virginia Avenue, Gunnison, Colorado.  The public is invited to attend and participate.

CONCERNING A LAND USE CHANGE PERMIT APPLICATION
LOWERY AND KATHY ADKINS
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENCE
IN COMPLIANCE WITH STANDARDS FOR DEVELOPMENT ON RIDGELINES
ON LOT 7, STAR MOUNTAIN RANCH

HEARING DATE, TIME AND LOCATION:  The Gunnison County Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing FRIDAY, DECEMBER 7TH, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Planning Commission Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Blackstock Government Center, 221 N. Wisconsin, Gunnison, Colorado, to hear public comment concerning a land use change permit application.  The applicants are Lowery and Kathy Adkins, represented by T. Brett Adkins. 
PARCEL LOCATION: The land is located approximately 18 miles north of the City of Gunnison, east of Ohio Creek Road (County Road #730),  Lot 7, Star Mountain Ranch.
PROPOSAL: The request is for the construction of a single-family residence, in compliance with Section 5-208: Standards for Development on Ridgelines, Gunnison County Land Use Resolution
ACCESS: Access is via a private road from County Road #730.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: Interested persons are invited to submit verbal or written comments at the hearing, or to submit written comments by FAX (970) 641-8585, or by letter (to the County Planning Department, 221 N. Wisconsin, Suite D, Gunnison, CO  81230), so long as they are received by 5 p.m. the afternoon before the date of the meeting so that they may be submitted for the public record during the hearing.  A copy of the application is available in the County Planning Department, 221 N. Crested Butte Mountain Educational Radio, Inc., gives notice that on October 19, 2007, it filed an application (FCC Form 340) with the Federal Communications Commission for a permit to construct a new Class A noncommercial FM station to be licensed to Almont, Colorado. The station proposes to operate on 91.7 MHz with 0.15 kW of operating power, with an antenna height of 12 meters from a site located at NL 38/42/47; WL 106/48/36 the main studio will be located in Crested Butte, CO.

The station proposes to operate on 88.7  MHz with 6.5 kW (V) of operating power, with an antenna height of 13 meters from a site located at NL 38/31/41; WL 106/54/14 the main studio will be located in Crested Butte, CO.
