Crested Butte started out the tournament with convincing wins over Gunnison and Grand Valley (Grand Junction), before losing to Durango.
After winning the consolation bracket by defeating Telluride, Crested Butte had a rematch with Durango in the championship game. Crested Butte played their hearts out and even out shot Durango, but still came up short.
This is a huge accomplishment, considering all of the other teams in our league have refrigerated indoor ice rinks except Kremmling. The team finished the season with a 21-6-5 record, and the coaches, Steve Curtiss, Jeff Englestad, John Collins, Randy Barrett and Todd Carroll congratulate the squirts on a fantastic season.
Team members are: Will Johnson, Ryan Myers, Jack Collins, Gage Meredith, and Ashton Mabry, Jordy Nichols, Patrick Seifert, Summit Wallace, Jace Engelstad, Ben Barrett, Henry Sunter, Walker Carroll, Gus Hensley, Woody Martineau and goalie Cameron Curtiss, Noah Dumas, Reeves Gauthreaux, Natalee Hecker, Toby Martineau, Ben Swift, Alden Watkins, Patrick Yehle and Remy Zanotto.
