The Gunnison County Facilities Maintenance Department is soliciting bids for surge suppression at the Gunnison County Courthouse.  The project consists of installing one SL2 100 Current Technologies surge suppressor at main service, 3 phase; install one TG60 Current Technologies at panel  CPB (IT Room), 3 phase; install one TG60 Current Technologies at Dispatch, single phase; one TG60 Current Technologies at panel CPI (first floor hall) 3 phase; and one TG60 Current Technologies at panel JP2 (second floor hall), 3 phase.
The Gunnison County Facilities Maintenance Department reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to change, add to or amend the specifications, to waive any informality, to accept the bid for the contract which, in its judgment, best serves the interests of the Gunnison County Facilities Maintenance Department.
Please submit sealed bids by 5/21/2009 to the Facilities Maintenance Department, c/o Gunnison County Finance Department, 200 E. Virginia Avenue, Gunnison, CO  81230.  No proposals will be accepted by fax.

—NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING—
REQUESTS FOR WAIVERS OF
GUNNISON COUNTY STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS
FOR ROAD AND BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION

HEARING DATE, TIME AND LOCATION: The Gunnison County Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing, Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at 9:50 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room of the Gunnison County Courthouse to hear public comment concerning applications for waivers of the Gunnison County Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction for Ted Colvin / Colvin Properties, Inc.
PARCEL LOCATION: A parcel of land proposed for five single family parcels, located south of the Town of Crested Butte between Whetstone Mountain Ranch and the proposed Whetstone Business Park at 25135 Highway 135.
PROPOSAL:  The waivers request permission to waive Standards for right-of-way easement width.
POSSIBLE ACTION Formal action may be taken on the waiver requests at this meeting.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: The public is invited to submit verbal or written comments at the hearing, or to submit written comments by FAX (970) 641-8120, or by letter (to the Gunnison County Public Works Department, 811 Rio Grande, Gunnison, CO 81230), so long as they are received by 5:00 p.m. the evening before the date of the meeting so that they may be submitted for the public record during the hearing.  Additional information may be obtained by calling the Public Works Department office at (970) 641-0044).

10:00 a.m.     Commnet Four Corners, LLC, public hearing/work session/possible action, request for the construction of a 60 foot cellular telecommunication tower, located at the Taylor Park Trading Post, 400 Ice Mountain Road, approximately 23 miles northwest of the City of Gunnison, in Taylor Park
