—Notice of Proposed School Budget—

Notice is hereby given that a proposed budget has been submitted to the Board of Education of the Gunnison Watershed School District for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2009 and has been filed in the office of the Business Manager where it is available for public inspection.  Such proposed budget will be considered for adoption at a special meeting of the Board of Education of said District at the temporary Administration building, 805 West Tomichi Ave. on June 17th at 7:30 a.m.
Any person paying school taxes in said district may at any time prior to the final adoption of the budget file or register his objections thereto.

—NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING—
CONCERNING A LAND USE CHANGE APPLICATION FOR OUTWEST GUIDES LLC FOR THE USE OF A COMMERCIAL FACILITY AND
A NEW RESIDENTIAL UNIT

HEARING DATE, TIME AND LOCATION: The Gunnison County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on June 5, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Marble Community Church, 122 Main Street, Marble, Colorado, to hear public comment concerning a land use change permit application for a commercial and residential use.
APPLICANT: The applicant is Outwest Guides LLC represented by Ken Good.
PARCEL LOCATION: The parcel on which the land use change is proposed is located west of the Town of Marble at 5121 County Road 3. The parcel is legally described as 3.21 acres in SE4NE4, Section 27, Township 11 South, Range 88 West, 6th p.m.
PROPOSAL: The applicant proposes to construct a commercial and residential facility. The approximate 1000 square foot commercial portion will be used as an office for an outfitting business. The residential unit will be approximately 600 square feet. The applicants propose to have clients meet at the site and drive from the site to trailheads for guided trips. The applicants also propose to sell sundries onsite such as snacks, drinks, t-shirts and hats.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: The public is invited to submit verbal or written comments at the hearing, or to submit written comments by FAX (970) 641-8585, or by letter (to the County Planning Department, 221 N. Wisconsin, Suite D, Gunnison, CO  81230), so long as they are received by 5 p.m. the afternoon before the date of the meeting so that they may be submitted for the public record during the hearing. REQUESTS FOR WAIVERS OF
GUNNISON COUNTY STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS
FOR ROAD AND BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION

HEARING DATE, TIME AND LOCATION: The Gunnison County Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing, Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at 9:50 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room of the Gunnison County Courthouse to hear public comment concerning applications for waivers of the Gunnison County Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction for Ted Colvin / Colvin Properties, Inc.
PARCEL LOCATION: A parcel of land proposed for five single family parcels, located south of the Town of Crested Butte between Whetstone Mountain Ranch and the proposed Whetstone Business Park at 25135 Highway 135.
PROPOSAL:  The waivers request permission to waive Standards for right-of-way easement width.
POSSIBLE ACTION Formal action may be taken on the waiver requests at this meeting.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: The public is invited to submit verbal or written comments at the hearing, or to submit written comments by FAX (970) 641-8120, or by letter (to the Gunnison County Public Works Department, 811 Rio Grande, Gunnison, CO 81230), so long as they are received by 5:00 p.m. the evening before the date of the meeting so that they may be submitted for the public record during the hearing.  Additional information may be obtained by calling the Public Works Department office at (970) 641-0044).
