Valentine’s Day Painting Party at The Studio!  Kids join us Friday, February 11th after school from 3:45 to 5pm for our Valentine’s Painting Party in the pottery shop!  Snacks and beverages will be served!  Kids can choose from a variety of our Valentine’s bisqueware or decorate any of our other pottery pieces in the spirit of Valentine’s.  All pieces painted at the party will be ready for pick up by Sunday, February 13th, just in time to give as gifts!  Call 349-2799 to RSVP or for more info. 
Create with Kelly at The Trailhead Children’s Discovery Museum!  Join Kelly, our resident artist, every Wednesday beginning at 10:00 a.m. for a guided art adventure.  All ages welcome.  Located in the Outpost Building next to the Adventure Park at the base of the ski area in Mt. Come and join us for February’s Character Camp! Developing character and values through fun, games, crafts, teamwork, relationships & stories for elementary aged children. The character traits we’re exploring are diligence, loyalty, hospitality, sensitivity & flexibility. We’ll be at the Town Hall, 8:30am – 3:30pm Monday, February 21st to Friday, February 25th. Explore! Create! Play! Learn!  The Trailhead Children’s Discovery Museum offers art, science, discovery and adventure for children and families.  Inspire your sense of curiosity and fun as you explore the Dig Pit, the Dark Room and the Nursery Nook, play with the Whirligig and Magic Magnets, build with Wedgits, climb the play set, create an art masterpiece and be a junior scientist.  Special activities throughout the week.  Come see our new, expanded space and new exhibits.  The Trailhead is located in the Outpost Building at the base of the ski area in Mt. Gymnastics – Winter Session 2:  Classes for the second session of winter gymnastics are on Tuesdays and Thursdays running January 4th – March 17th. Private lessons are also available. For more information or to register, go to www.crestedbutterec.com.
Tumblebugs!  The playgrounds are buried and so it’s Tumblebugs time! Tumblebugs is a two hour play time for parents and children ages 0 – 3 years old. Come to Jerry’s Gym from 9:00 am – 11:00 am to run around and play with new friends and toys. This is a drop-in program, $5 per session, and discounted punch cards are available. Questions? Storytimes at the Old Rock Library!  Mondays AND Fridays at 10:30 for ages 3 and up, and continuing Wednesdays at 11:15 for babies and toddlers. Library storytimes will highlight the 6 early literacy skills recommended by the American Library Association, as well as incorporate titles from the Children’s Book List by the Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning.
