—REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL—
FOR AN INTEGRATED PROJECT DELIVERY METHOD UTILIZING
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT/GENERAL CONTRACTING SERVICES
The Crested Butte Fire Protection District (District) is soliciting the submittal of proposals from Construction Management/General Contracting (CM/GC) firms to provide services for the construction of an addition to the Mt. Crested Butte Fire Station.
Selection and award of this project will be based on a combination of qualifications and cost that represents the best overall value to the District.
Minimum Requirements: Notice is hereby given to all interested parties that all firms will be required to meet minimum qualifications to be considered for this project. To be considered as qualified, interested firms shall have, at a minimum:
• Provided Construction Management/General Contracting services within the last three (3) years for at least two (2) projects each in excess of $1 million; and,
• Demonstrated specific Construction Management/General Contracting experience in governmental project types of similar scale and complexity; and,
• Demonstrated bonding capacity up to $1 million for an individual project and provide a letter from a surety firm that affirms this capability.
Scope of Services: The scope of services will include assistance to the District during the process of design, engineering, development of construction drawings and construction. The District currently has a design approved by the Town of Mt. Crested Butte and will provide a soils engineering report. Specific task to be performed by the CM/GC include those generally performed by the CM/GC community where the Construction Manager is also the contractor. Examples of, but not limited to, the services to be provided by the CM/GC are:
• Review architectural drawings.
• Interview architect, Board of Directors and staff to learn about interior finishes and systems.
• Oversee development of structural, mechanical and electrical engineering plans.
• Oversee development of landscaping, drainage, irrigation and paving plans.
• Oversee development of the final construction drawings.
• Advise the District on cost effective construction methods.
• A Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) will be required at the completion of the Design Development phase.
Submittal Requirements:
• Provide an AIA Form A305.
• Identify the specific individuals that will be involved with the project.
• State the roles of each team member and provide an organization chart.
• List other projects completed recently in the Crested Butte area.
• List similar projects done on a CM/GC basis including the contract amounts and the name and contact information of the owner.
• Describe the process you envision from the completion of design development through construction.
• Provide a statement as to when you believe it is advisable to finalize the GMP.
• Describe other services you could provide that would be of benefit to the District.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the District will consider the proposed 2007 amended budget and the proposed 2008 budget. That a copy of such 2007 proposed amended budget and the proposed 2008 budget has been filed in the office of Crested Butte South Metropolitan District, 280 Cement Creek Road, Crested Butte, Co. where the same is open for public inspection. That such 2007 proposed amended budget and the 2008 proposed budget will be considered at the regular meeting of the Crested Butte South Metropolitan District to be held at 280 Cement Creek Road, on Wednesday the 28th, day of November 2007 at 6:00 p.m.
Any interested elector of the Crested Butte South Metropolitan District may inspect the 2007 proposed amended budget and the 2008 proposed budget and file or register any objection thereto at any time prior to the final adoption of the budgets by the Board of Directors.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Mt. Crested Butte Water and Sanitation District of Gunnison County, Colorado, will make final payment at the Administrative Office of the District (100 Gothic Road in the Town of Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado), on November 12, 2007, at the hour of 5:00 p.m. to Southwest Contracting, Inc. of Cortez, Colorado for all work done by said Contractor(s) in Meridian Lake Water Treatment Plant construction work performed within Mt. Crested Butte Water and Sanitation District.
Any person, co-partnership, association of persons, company or corporation that has furnished labor, materials, team hire, sustenance, provisions, provender, or other supplies used or consumed by such contractors or their subcontractors, in or about the performance of the work contracted to be done or that supplies rental machinery, tools, or equipment to the extent used in the prosecution of the work, and whose claim therefore has not been paid by the contractors or their subcontractors, at any time up to and including the time of final settlement for the work contracted to be done, is required to file a verified statement of the amount due and unpaid, and on account of such claim, to the Mt. Crested Butte Water and Sanitation District, P.O. Box 5740, 100 Gothic Road, Mt. Crested Butte, CO 81225, on or before the date and time hereinabove shown. Failure on the part of any claimant to file such verified statement of claim prior to such final settlement will release the Mt. Crested Butte Water and Sanitation District, its Board of Directors, officers, agents and employees, of an from any and all liability for such claim.

Notice is hereby given that the proposed 2007 amended budget and the proposed 2008 budget have been submitted to the Board of Directors of Skyland Metropolitan District. Copies of the proposed budgets have been filed in the office of the District, Skyland Lodge, 350 Country Club Drive, Suite 112, Crested Butte, Colorado 81224, where they are open for public inspection. The proposed budgets will be considered at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the District to be held at Skyland Lodge, 350 Country Club Drive, Suite 112, Crested Butte, Colorado 81224 on November 14, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. The Board will hold a public hearing at such meeting during which all interested parties may be heard.
