PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT a public hearing, will he held on Tuesday May 13, 2008, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Crested Butte Town Hall located at 507 Maroon Ave. in Crested Butte, Colorado for the purpose of considering the following: The application of Sixth Street Station LLC., to construct 7 mixed use buildings within a 20 lot Planned Unit Development. Uses include hotel, restaurant, retail, office and underground parking. Said project is to be located at 3, 30, 103 and 130 Sixth Street, block 1, lots 1-5 and 28-32, block 12, lots 1-5 and 28-32, zoned B-2. Additional requirements are: – P.U.D. Concept Review is required. Concept review is for informational purposes only. No binding decisions or representations shall be made or allowed. SOUTHWEST OF THE CITY OF GUNNISON
SECTIONS 2 AND 11, TOWNSHIP 49 NORTH, RANGE 1 WEST, N.M.P.M.
HEARING DATE, TIME AND LOCATION: The Gunnison County Board of County Commissioners and the County Planning Commission will conduct a joint public hearing FRIDAY, JUNE 6TH, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Planning Commission Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Blackstock Building, 221 N. Wisconsin, Gunnison, Colorado, to hear public comment concerning the proposed changes.
PARCEL LOCATION: The land is legally described as 60-acres, being located in Sections 2 and 11, Township 49 North, Range 1 West, N.M.P.M., Gunnison County, Colorado. Generally, the property is located southwest of the City of Gunnison; an area south of the Gunnison County Airport east/west runway, also known as the Gunnison Crested Butte Regional Airport Light Industrial Park, owned by Gunnison County.
PROPOSAL: The proposal will modify the site plan and configuration of the lease areas initially approved for the Gunnison Crested Butte Regional Airport Light Industrial Park, Special Geographic Area designation.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: The public is invited to submit verbal or written comments at the hearing, or to submit written comments by FAX (970) 641-8585, or by letter (to the Planning Department, 221 N. Wisconsin, Gunnison, CO 81230), so long as they are received by 5 p.m. the evening before the date of the meeting so that they may be submitted for the public record during the hearing. A complete set of plans can be viewed at the Crested Butte South P.O.A. Office, 61 Teocalli Road. Alternatives being considered may include the removal of the existing outdoor rink and lights, and placement of the new building in that same area.
