Junior alpine extreme skiers shine

It was brought to my attention about the lack of junior alpine skier coverage from the Subaru U.S. Extreme Freeskiing Championships February 17-22 here in Crested Butte. The juniors threw down on the some of the same runs as the men and women and gave the crowd some insight into the brilliant future of the sport. In the end, North Parker of Sun Valley, Idaho took the junior men’s title with John Collinson and Brandon Clabaugh tying for second place. Alex George of Jackson Hole led the charge for the junior women, with Lizzie Seibert of Vail in second place and Francesca Pavillard-Cain of Crested Butte taking third.
