1) APPROVAL OF AGENDA
2) CONSENT AGENDA The listing under consent agenda is a group of items to be acted on with a single motion. The consent agenda is designed to expedite Council business. The Mayor will ask if any citizen or council member wishes to have any specific item discussed. You may request that an item be removed from the Consent Agenda at that time, prior to Council’s vote. Items removed from the Consent Agenda will be considered under New Business.
A) Approval of Minutes of May 18, 2009 Regular Council Meeting.

A) Special Event Permit – Crested Butte/Mt. Crested Butte Chamber of Commerce – July 4th Parade, Activities and Food Court – July 4, 2009 on Elk Avenue from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
B) Special Event Permit – The Crested Butte Society’s Crested Butte Arts Festival – 10 a.m. August 1, 2009 to 5 p.m. August 2, 2009 on Elk Avenue and Adjoining Side Streets.
C) Special Event Liquor License – The Crested Butte Society – August 1, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and August 2, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the 400 Block of 3rd Street on the Corner of Elk Avenue and 3rd Street (public hearing).
D) Special Event Permit – Crested Butte Land Trust – Evening on Elk – July 24, 2009 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Elk Avenue from 1st Street to the Post Office Parking Lot.
E) Special Event Liquor License- Crested Butte Land Trust – Evening on Elk – July 24, 2009 from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Elk Avenue from 1st Street to the Post Office Parking Lot (public hearing).
F) Ordinance No. 4, Series 2009 – An Ordinance Of The Town Of Crested Butte, Colorado, Adopting By Reference And Enacting A New Municipal Code For The Town Of Crested Butte; Providing For The Repeal Of Certain Ordinances Not Included Therein; Providing For The Adoption Of Secondary Codes By Reference; Providing A Penalty For The Violation Thereof; Providing For The Manner Of Amending Such Code; And Providing When Such Code And This Ordinance Shall Become Effective (public hearing).

A) Appropriation of $7,500 from the Town Council Venture Fund to the Chamber of Commerce for a Butte Bucks Program for 2009 Summer Season.
B) Chamber of Commerce Discussion of 4th of July Fireworks and Other Matters Regarding 4th of July.
C) Further Discussion of Future Ice Rink Facility.
D) Consideration of Site Plan for Crested Butte Nordic Center Shed.
E) Resolution No 5, Series 2009 -A Resolution Authorizing The Town To Enter Into An Intergovernmental Agreement With The State Department Of Transportation, Division Of Transportation Development, For The Provision Of Public Transportation Services In The Crested Butte Nonurbanized Area.
F) Ordinance No. 8, Series 2009- An Ordinance Amending The Conditional Uses In The “B1” Business District Listed In The Town’s Zoning And Land Use Ordinance To Allow Greater Residential Use In Historic Buildings Located On No More Than 4,850 Square Feet.
G) Ted Colvin Properties, Boundary Line Adjustment. Possible Comment to the Board of County Commissioners.
H) Ordinance No. 9, Series 2009- An Ordinance Amending Certain Provisions Of The Town Code Relative To The Erection of Freestanding Signs On Public Property And On Sidewalks To Permit The Temporary Placement Of Certain Direction-bearing Signs On Said Properties Where Certain Requirements Are Met.

TOWN OF MT. CRESTED BUTTE, COLORADO
Please take notice that the Mt. Crested Butte Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 5:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado.
The purpose of the hearing is for public input on the subdivision sketch plat and zoning for Forest Hollow formerly known as the Astronaut Parcel. An 8.87 Acre Parcel Of land Located In The E ½ SW ¼ NE ¼ Of Section 14, Township 13 South, Range 86 West, 6th P.M., County Of Gunnison, State Of Colorado, owned By Brush Creek Holdings, LLC
All interested persons are urged to attend. Written comments are welcome and should be received at the Town Offices, PO Box 5800, Mt. Crested Butte, CO 81225-5800 or by fax to (970) 349-6326 by 5:00 PM Thursday, June 11, 2009.
