—REQUEST FOR BIDS—
Invitation for Prequalification to Bid
Gunnison County Electric Association, Inc. with headquarters located at 37250 West Highway 50, P.O. Box 180, Gunnison, Colorado 81230.
Separate sealed bids for the construction of a 75 foot by 120 foot; one story metal building will be received by Gunnison County Electric Association, Inc. (GCEA) at the above address until 4:00pm, local time, on June 18, 2009.
The work consists of construction of a metal frame shop and warehouse area including installation of a concrete foundation and floor, plumbing, heating, mechanical, electrical, exterior and interior finishes.
All contactors must be pre-qualified by the Association in order for their proposal to be accepted. Contact the Association for prequalification guidelines. The Association reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.
Copies of the contract documents may be examined at GCEA headquarters and will be available for purchase on June 01, 2009.  These documents may be picked up at Williams Engineering, 80 Camino Del Rio, Suite 1 Gunnison, Co 970-641-2499, upon receipt of a non-refundable payment of $50.00 for each set.

—Notice of Proposed School Budget—

Notice is hereby given that a proposed budget has been submitted to the Board of Education of the Gunnison Watershed School District for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2009 and has been filed in the office of the Business Manager where it is available for public inspection.  Such proposed budget will be considered for adoption at a special meeting of the Board of Education of said District at the temporary Administration building, 805 West Tomichi Ave. on June 17th at 7:30 a.m.
Any person paying school taxes in said district may at any time prior to the final adoption of the budget file or register his objections thereto.
