—NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION—
TOWN OF MT. CRESTED BUTTE, COLORADO
Please take notice that the Mt. Crested Butte Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 5:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado.
The purpose of the hearing is for public input on a conditional use permit application for the design and building of a 3 bay garage (approximately 1802 ft2) by the Mt Crested Butte Water and Sanitation District – Lot 4 CVA 3 – 100 Gothic Rd.
All interested persons are urged to attend. Written comments are welcome and should be received at the Town Offices, PO Box 5800, Mt. Crested Butte, CO 81225-5800 by 5:00 PM Thursday, August 13th, 2009.
A copy of the application is available for viewing at Mt. Crested Butte Town Hall during regular business hours.

• Approval of Minutes
• Unscheduled citizens: A brief period in which the public is invited to make general comments or ask questions of the Commission or Planning Staff about items which are not scheduled on the day’s agenda.
9:00 a.m. Planning Commission Work Session – Proposed Amendments to the Land Use Resolution, work session/possible action on recommendation to Board, generally including:
• Changes to definitions
• Calculation of open space: Housekeeping item that removes inapplicable language
• Standards approving Minor Impacts: Correcting references to amended and replatted plats
• Extension of time to submit Preliminary and Final Plans
• Changes to hearing requirements and standards in appeals process
• Increasing allowed outside storage in commercial and industrial uses
• Clarification of setbacks between mining operations/construction materials and conservation easements/open space
Changes to locational standards and density standards for residential development
