On behalf of the Crested Butte Youth Council, we would like to thank everyone that made our benefit concert last Friday and roaring success! We’d like to thank British band the Brittle Bricks for including Crested Butte in their US tour schedule to play for the benefit of the Youth Council; we’re so grateful for your performance and the money raised! We’d also like to thank Colette Kraatz for coordinating the event and doing everything in her power to make the night so special.
Several local businesses showed the band genuine Crested Butte hospitality, for which we can’t thank you enough: CBMR, Flat Iron Sports and Maxwell’s graciously donated lodging, ski rentals and meals for the band, something one band member called, “The most kind experience we’ve had on this tour.”
We’d also like to thank everyone who came out in support of the Youth Council and local singer songwriter Jessie Dean, your presence and dance moves spoke volumes, thank you!
