First-ever Magic Meadows Dozen
A fundraiser for the Crested Butte Nordic Team is coming up. The first-ever Magic Meadows Dozen will be held on Saturday, March 16 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Magic Meadows Yurt. Racers and recreationalists alike are invited to come out and ski laps solo or with a team of two or four. Beer, food, entertainment, and prizes will be provided. This is a fundraising event for the great Nordic Team—come on out and support them.

Nordic Trail etiquette
Please note: The Nordic trails are for skiing and snowshoeing only. Please do not walk on the trails if you are not wearing snowshoes. Walking on the trails causes footprints, which freeze, making the grooming more difficult. Please respect the season pass holders and day pass purchasers who pay for a nicely groomed trail. If you do use the trails for snowshoeing, please stay on the side opposite of the classic track.

Full moon dinner at the Yurt
Last full moon dinner at the Yurt! Come see why the Los Angeles Times called our Yurt dinners “The West’s Best Après-Ski Scene.” The final dinner is Tuesday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m. Choose from four dinner entrees including steak, chicken, salmon and vegetarian. Cost is $70 and includes a trail pass, equipment rental and a five-course meal catered by local chef Josephine Kellett of Creative Catering. There is a one-time $20 discount for season pass holders. Reservations are required at least 48 hours in advance and can be made on-line at cbnordic.org.
