The Crested Butte Nordic Thanksgiving Camp is here. With the best snow conditions in years, there is over 25 km of track around town promising great skiing. Clinics for beginner, intermediate, and advanced skiers will take place Thursday through Saturday. Other activities include pilates with Kenny Marks of Western Pilates, a Fast Wax clinic with Brian Smith, an Endurance Alchemy demo night, as well as CB Nordic’s Winter Kick-Off Events.
Winter Kick-Off Events include a film night and a party and silent auction. The film night features the Banff Mountain Film Festival Grand Prize winner “Nord for Sola.” Films will start at 7 p.m. at the Center for the Arts on Friday, November 29. The party and silent auction will take place at the Secret Stash at 6 p.m. Food, libations, and a live DJ as well as more than $10,000 in silent auction items will be present.
