It’s a big week for Crested Butte Titans high school sports and the entire community is strongly encouraged to come out and show your support for high school teams as they take the field, hit the hard court and toe the line for Homecoming.

All week long the school has been in the midst of Spirit Week to get the student body fired up for Homecoming, and now all the Titans teams need are big crowds to help push them to some Homecoming victories.

The action opens on Thursday, September 15 as the Crested Butte Titans volleyball team hosts Center in mighty Mt. Olympus. The matches start at 4 p.m.

Homecoming then ramps up on Friday, September 16 as the soccer team will host the Telluride Miners at Rainbow field with the varsity at 4 p.m. and the JV at 5:30 p.m. Last year the Miners handed the Titans a devastating 3-2 defeat so the Titans are looking for revenge.

There will be a bike parade from the school to the field starting at 3:45 p.m. and there will be a barbeque in the Rainbow pavilion to help raise money for the Titans Booster Club.

Saturday is action-packed, as the volleyball team will face Sargent and Custer County back in mighty Mt. Olympus, with matches starting at 10 a.m. Meanwhile, the cross-country team will line up at 9 a.m. in Gunnison for the Gunnison Invitational. The race is the only time to catch the Titan harriers in action in the county as they spend almost their entire season on the road.

Show your support for Titans sports.
