Colorado State Patrol responded to a two-car accident on Highway 135 at the Crested Butte South intersection at 9:20 a.m. on Tuesday. According to a Colorado State Patrol spokesperson, the accident caused significant backup, and traffic was interrupted for a little over an hour.
Both drivers, a 59-year old woman and a 39-year old woman, were transported to the Gunnison Valley Hospital with minor injuries. No drugs or alcohol were involved.
