With summer just around the corner, it just got a little sweeter as Crested Butte Mountain Resort announced this week an extension of their summer operations schedule and offerings.

Opening June 11, CBMR will be operating for bike hauls, scenic chairlift rides and activities through September 5, and then will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from September 9-25.

“These three additional weekends will offer scenic chairlift rides and bike hauls via the Red Lady Express, as well as activities in the Adventure Park, including the bungee tramp, climbing wall, and gem panning,” said CBMR communications manager Julie Block. Butte 66 will also continue to be open for food service during those extended hours.

Additionally, CBMR is bringing back the bike park’s Twilight Hours every Friday evening in July. Starting July 1, guests can enjoy bike hauls and riding from 5-7 p.m. “Those who want to arrive later will have the option to purchase a discounted $29 bike haul ticket to use from 4-7 p.m.,” noted Block. Twilight Hours will also be available on July 4 for Independence Day.

CBMR also plans to run its Summer Camp activities for kids ages 7-14 and Camp CB for kids ages 5-8. The camp offerings will run from June 13 to August 19, Monday through Friday, and include on and off mountain activities such as biking, rafting, paddleboarding, climbing, fishing, ropes course, archery and disc golf. CBMR will also offer its Mountain Adventures and Mini Riders daily mountain bike programs and has partnered with CB Devo for its nine-week upper-level youth mountain bike programming. Camp registration is now open.

Lift access is available through the purchase of Vail Resorts 2022/23 Epic Passes or Epic Day Passes. Passes can be found at https://www.epicpass.com/pass-results/passes.aspx.
