—Upper Gunnison River Water Conservancy District Requests Proposals for Taylor River Dam Hydropower Project—

The Upper Gunnison River Water Conservancy District (UGRWCD) is requesting proposals from qualified engineering firms to conduct a feasibility study for producing hydropower at the Taylor Park Reservoir dam in Gunnison County, Colorado.  Proposal guidelines are available at http://www.ugrwcd.org or by calling UGRWCD at 970-641-6065.  Proposals are due no later than 5:00 p.m. on July 31, 2009.

—NOTICE OF MEETING—

The GUNNISON COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION will meet on Monday, July 13, 2009 in the Commissioners Meeting Room at the Gunnison County Courthouse to review the assessment roll of all taxable real property located in the County.
The GUNNISON COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION will meet on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 in the Commissioners Meeting Room at the Gunnison County Courthouse to review the assessment roll of all taxable personal property located in the County.
Beginning also in July of 2009, the COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION will hear appeals from determinations of the Assessor with respect to the valuation of all taxable property. Thereafter at such times as may be necessary, until the closing of business on the 4th day of August, 2009, the COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION will hear appeals from determinations of the Assessor with respect to real and personal property.
Persons wishing to appear before the COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION must send the proper appeal forms to the County Administration Office, 200 East Virginia Avenue, Gunnison CO 81230 postmarked or hand delivered no later than 5:00 p.m. on July 15th, 2009 for real property and no later than 5:00 p.m. on July 21, 2009 for personal property.
The COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION will not hear appeals from persons who have failed to file a timely protest with the Assessor

11:00 a.m.    Bear Ranch, continued public hearing/no action, request for the construction of a road to provide access to nine 35-acres tracts, located approximately 4.5 miles east of State Highway 133, north of County Road 12 (Kebler Pass)

1:00 p.m.    Work session, review of amendment of Gunnison County Special Development Projects Resolution.
