The Mountaineer Cyclocross Race was held on the Western State College campus Saturday and Sunday, November 7-8.
The race was the inaugural Collegiate Cyclocross Championships for the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Cycling Conference (RMCCC) and attracted local riders as well as riders from the University of Colorado, Colorado State University and Mesa State College.
The National Collegiate Championships will be held in Bend, Oregon. Dylan Stucki was the lone WSC rider in the championships and took fifth place out of 11 riders in the men’s collegiate category.
