Gunnison’s Prairie Dog
Gunnison County Board of Commissioners
February 25, 2008 ~ 7:00 P.M.
The United States Fish and Wildlife Service recently announced that they had determined that listing certain populations of the Gunnison’s Prairie Dog under the Endangered Species Act was warranted. The Gunnison County Board of Commissioners is hosting a meeting on February 25, 2008 at 7pm in the Multi-purpose Building of the Fred R. Field Western Heritage Center to allow the public to hear about this decision and ask questions of agency representatives. A representatives of the Fish and Wildlife Service will present information on this decision and be available for questions from the public. Staff from the Colorado Division of Wildlife will also discuss the Division’s management planning efforts. If you are interested in this issue, please attend!
