—MEETING NOTICE—

The Board of Directors of the Upper Gunnison River Water Conservancy District and will conduct its regular board meeting on Monday, July 28, 2008, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the District offices, 234 North Main Street, Suite 3B (Main Place Building), Gunnison, Colorado. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting.  An agenda will be posted at the District office prior to the meeting.

You are hereby summoned and required to appear and defend against the claims of the complaint filed with the Court in this action, by filing with the Clerk of this Court an answer or other response. You are required to file your answer or other response within thirty (30) days after the service of this summons upon you. Service of this summons shall be complete on the day of the last publication. A copy of the complaint may be obtained from the Clerk of the Court. If you fail to file your answer or other response to the complaint in writing within thirty (30) days after the date of the last publication, judgment by default may be rendered against you by the Court for the relief demanded in the complaint, without further notice.
This is an action to foreclose a lien for the nonpayment of common expense assessments assessed against Lot 21, Trappers Crossing at Wildcat, according to the Amended Plat thereof filed October 30, 1992, bearing Reception No. 438114 of the records of Gunnison County, Colorado, County of Gunnison, State of Colorado. The amount of outstanding common assessments, interest, and costs of collection is $9,223.42.

—Notice of Request for Proposals (RFP)—

The Gunnison Valley Rural Transportation Authority (RTA) is accepting proposals from individuals, groups, businesses, and other entities interested in providing transportation to the public between the City of Gunnison and the Town of Mt. Crested Butte.   The RTA wishes to obtain bids to provide this service and is not committing to award a contract at this time.
Service will be provided on four 40’ transit buses owned by the RTA.  These buses will be capable of seating at least 35 people – not including standees, and operators must be compliant with all State and Federal regulations.  The buses will be leased to the provider at a cost of $1 per bus for the contract period.  Service will include approximately eleven round trips during the winter ski season beginning in mid-November, 2008, six to nine round trips during the summer, and three round trips during the remainder of the calendar year (approximately mid-April to mid-November.)  Desired departure times for each trip are outlined in the RFP and interested operators are encouraged to offer alternatives as they see fit. 
The deadline for receipt of proposals is August 12, 2008 at 9:00 a.m.

—NOTICE OF JOINT PUBLIC HEARING—
CONCERNING AN OIL AND GAS OPERATIONS
 PERMIT APPLICATION
FOR THE HOTCHKISS FEDERAL PROJECT
16 WELLS & ASSOCIATED GATHERING LINES
GUNNISON ENERGY CORPORATION
SECTIONS 17, 18, 19 AND 20, T12S, R89W, 6TH P.M.

HEARING DATE, TIME AND LOCATION: The Gunnison County Planning Commission and Board of County Commissioners will conduct a joint public hearing FRIDAY, AUGUST 15TH, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. in the Planning Commission Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Blackstock Building, 221 N. Wisconsin, Gunnison, Colorado, to hear public comment concerning an application from Gunnison Energy Corporation.
PROPOSAL:  The Hotchkiss Federal Project is to construct, operate and maintain 16 potential vertical and horizontal gas wells and associated gathering lines, on lands owned by the Hotchkiss Ranches, Inc.
LOCATION:  Generally, the wells are proposed to be located within Sections 17, 18, 19 and 20, T12S, R89W, 6TH P.M., west of Highway 133.
 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION:  The public is invited to submit verbal or written comments at the hearing, or to submit written comments by FAX (970) 641-8585, or by letter (to the Planning Department, 221 N. Wisconsin, Gunnison, CO  81230), so long as they are received by 5 p.m. the evening before the date of the meeting so that they may be submitted for the public record during the hearing.  Copies of the applications are available for public review in the Planning Department Office, 221 N. Wisconsin, Suite D, Gunnison, Colorado; additional information may be obtained by calling the office, (970) 641-0360.
