Kid’s calendar

•    Summer Character Camp:  June 1st-5th and August 24th-28th.
A non-religious camp for kids 4 to 11 years old using games, arts and
crafts, stories, music and relationships to teach universal values. Camp is at Town Hall from 8:30 to 3:30. $30/day early register, $40/day for late registration and drop-ins.  Contact Lisa Pisano at 970-209-1227 or lpisano2@yahoo.com. Sponsored by Oh Be Joyful Church.
•    Celebrate the Beat Joyful Arts Camp:  Join in daily dance class at the Center for the Arts with a live musician to learn and rehearse choreography, and paint a backdrop for your own performance.  Finish with a free outdoor performance for the public on July 4 in Town Park at the CB Music Festival Concert.  Ages: 5-6, June 29-July 4, 11:00-1:00, $100.00.  Ages: 7-8, June 29-July 4, 11:00-1:00, $100.00.  Ages: 9-12, June 22-July 4, 9:00-11:00, $200.00.  Email or call Elizabeth Smith at 349-7311 or elizsmi422@wildblue.net
•    Stepping Stones Summer Camp:  is currently taking reservations. Summer hours are Monday thru Friday from 8am-5:30pm from June 4th thru August 25th.  We have space for children from 12 months thru 7 years old.  Call Mark or Jen at 349-5288.
•    Storytime at The Old Rock Library:  Babies and Toddler Storytime (ages 0-2.5), Tuesdays 10:30 a.m.  Preschool storytimes (ages 3-6), Wednesdays and Fridays, 10:30 a.m.  Call 349-6535 for more information.
•    Munchkin's Music and Dance: will be singing and dancing to the Dolphin Collection!  June 15th through August 3rd, meet Mondays and Tuesdays, at 9:00 or 10:00 a.m.  MusicMakers for four- and five-year-olds, Mondays at 11:00.  karenj@rmi.net or 349-9639.
•    The Gunnison Valley Children's Chorus: will offer a summer session, culminating in several performances.  Starting June 16th, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at 3:30.  Also included are line dances, play party games, instruments, and other musical opportunities!  karenj@rmi.net or 349-9639.
