Minor Impact Activity Watershed Permit

Please take notice that Scarp Ridge LLC has submitted an application for a Minor Impact Activity Watershed Permit to the Town of Crested Butte to install a grey water system, 1000 gallon in-ground propane tank, shed relocation, storm water, erosion, sedimentation, and slope control measures in the Crested Butte municipal watershed. 
The property is located at the “Movie Cabin” on Irwin Lodge Road.

—NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING—
BEFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION
TOWN OF MT. CRESTED BUTTE, COLORADO
Please take notice that the Mt. Crested Butte Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 5:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado.
The purpose of the hearing is for public input on a conditional use application submitted by Crested Butte, LLC allowing for the proposed use of a temporary yurt to be occupied by the Crested Butte Mountain Sports Team (CBMST) on Lodge Site 13 located at 650 Gothic Road. The use will be as a meeting/ locker/dressing room for all CBMST athletes and for administrative use by the CBMST staff.
All interested persons are urged to attend.  Written comments are welcome and should be received at the Town Offices, PO Box 5800, Mt. Crested Butte, CO  81225-5800 or by fax to (970) 349-6326 by Thursday, October 15, 2009.
Application and site plan are available for viewing at Mt. Crested Butte Town Hall during regular business hours.

CBTV

On August 25, 2009, CBTV, Inc. filed an application with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) seeking authorization for a new digital low power television station to be licensed to Crested Butte, Jack’s Cabin and Gunnison, Colorado. By these applications, CBTV proposes to build and operate a digital LPTV station broadcasting on Channel 38 with 15 kilowatts of power from a transmitter site located at 38 42 47.0 degrees North latitude by 106 48 36.0 degrees West longitude, Channel 28 with 15 kilowatts of power from a transmitter site located at 38 54 11.0 degrees North latitude by 106 58 23.0 degrees West longitude, Channel 22 with 15 kilowatts of power from a transmitter site located at 38 31 41.0 degrees North latitude by 106 54 14.0 degrees West longitude. A copy of the application and related material are on file for public inspection and comment at the FCC, Washington, DC 20554.
