Homestead 

The town of Mt. Crested Butte is reviewing Requests for Proposal (RFP) applications for a contractor to complete the development of the Homestead affordable housing subdivision. During the August 1 meeting, the town council appointed councilmembers Steve Morris and Dwayne Lehnertz to take part in the contractor RFP submittal review and interview processes. 

Planning commission opening

The town is looking to fill an open seat on the Mt. Crested Butte planning commission. The town council will appoint one member to the planning commission at the September 5 council meeting, and the open seat runs until April 2024. If interested in serving on the planning commission, contact the Mt. CB building department.
