Step up to sponsor Youth Hockey

To the Greater Crested Butte Community:
Fresh snow is on the slopes, ice is in the rink, and hockey season is upon us in Crested Butte. The 2010 Hocktober Camp was a great success with over 100 youth participants. A huge “thank you” goes out to the Wooden Nickel for their generous donation which subsidized the second annual camp and kept it affordable for all players; but, more help is needed.
Due to the generosity of the community last year, we were able to provide scholarships for 15 of our youth players during the regular hockey season. Help is needed again this year. A sponsorship from you or your business for the 2010-2011 Youth Hockey season will guarantee that these players are not left off the ice.
Sponsor names are posted on both the Town of Crested Butte and the Crested Butte Recreation websites throughout the season. Your sponsorship will also be recognized on a banner placed at the Big Mine Rink for the duration of the 2010-2011 ice season.
Sponsorships are available at the “Slapshot” Level ($150), or the “Hat-Trick” Level ($250). All donations are tax deductible. If you are interested in helping to support Crested Butte athletics, please look online at www.townofcrestedbutte.com and search ‘Sponsors,’ or contact the Parks & Recreation Office directly at 349-7197, or recreation@crestedbutte-co.gov. Together we can keep winter sports thriving for the youth of our community. Thank you in advance for your continued support.

Sincerely,
