Kaitlin Councilman in all-state volleyball

Closes out prolific setting career

Senior Kaitlin Councilman was chosen to participate in the Colorado Coaches of Girls Sports (CCGS) All State Volleyball games on Sunday, November 16 at Broomfield High School in Broomfield, Colo.

CCGS began sponsoring an All-State Volleyball Game in 1978 to provide girls a showcase for talent. Each senior is nominated by coaches in her league, while coaches representing all the leagues make the final selection of 90 players for all five classifications.
Players are chosen based on talent, dedication, team play and leadership.
In her final season for the Titans, Councilman led the team in serving percentage and aces and averaged five assists per game. In addition to being selected an all-state player, Councilman was the starting setter for the Titans for three years, a co-captain her junior and senior years and was also an all conference player for three years.
