On Bus Advertising
Mountain Express

The Mountain Express Municipal Bus system is requesting proposals from individuals or businesses wishing to sell and install advertising inside the Mountain Express vehicles. The winning contractor will be required to solicit advertising, collect advertising revenues from advertisers, create placards for advertisers, as well as install and maintain the advertising placards. Advertising placards must be installed prior to November 23, 2009 and Mountain Express will require payment from the winning contractor by December 31, 2009.

­—Notice of appointment to board of education—
 The Board of Education of the Gunnison Watershed School District is accepting applications from persons interested in serving on the Board of Education from the date of appointment in November, 2009 until the next regular biennial school election in November 2011.  To be eligible for appointment, each candidate must be a registered elector of the school district for at least twelve consecutive months prior to the date of appointment.  The applicant must also be a resident south of round mountain and in the school district.  Any person who meets the qualifications and who desires to be considered for the appointment is invited to file a written notice of such intention with Stephanie Juneau, designated election official, by October 21, 2009, at 800 N Boulevard, Gunnison, CO 81230. The Board will interview prospective candidates on October 28, 2009 at a public meeting.
