The Crested Butte Mt. Heritage Museum wishes to thank everyone involved with the Ball this year. What a great time everyone who came had! Although the weather started out a little dodgy, the evening turned out to be clear and then starry-so remember the Crested Butte motto–come out even if the weather looks bad because most of the time it is fabulous.
This event would not happen if we had not received help from so many organizations. They are Peak Property Management, Gunnison Ice, Joe Dixon Tent Rentals, Coldwell Banker Bighorn Realty, Crested Butte Mountain Resort–especially Karen, Stacey, Drew and Mark, the Marshal’s Office, the Town of Crested Butte, Mtn. Spirits, the Fire Department, the Union Congregational Church, Wal-Mart, Blackline Entertainment, Stems Floral, Donita’s, the Mt. Bike Hall of Fame, the Eldo, Ted Bosler, and all the over 45 volunteers! Our costume raffle was supported by the Alpineer, At Home in Crested Butte, Brick Oven, La Donna Largo, Mountain Hardwear, Michelle English, Pfisters, Zacchariah Zypp, and Trudy Yaklich. The grand prizes for the raffle are thanks to the Mtn. Bike Hall of Fame, Telluride Music Company, Ben Furminsky, and CBMR.
As always next year’s Ball is on Saturday, July 2. Start planning your wardrobe now!
