The fifth annual Butte Bouldering Bonanza (BBB), held at the Skyland Boulders in Crested Butte on Saturday, August 28, had the greatest participation, as well as number of creative costumes, in the history of the event.
Twenty climbers registered for “12 Hours of Highballs” and approximately 100 people were up at the boulders throughout the day.
In addition to the bouldering competition, there was a local foods barbeque, costume contest, a dance-off, a beat-box competition, and a slackline competition.
The BBB was held for the Western State College “Week of Welcome.”
