Kid’s Calendar

Kids Ornament Painting Party at The Studio!  After School on Friday, 12/3, 3:45 – 5:15pm.  Enjoy Snacks and Drinks while you Paint!  Get those holiday gifts finished in time to be sent out!  Parents are welcome to join your kids for this event.  Child’s budget can be set by parent at sign up.  There is no additional cost to attend this event.  Call 349-2799 or email to let us know your child will attend.
Move and Groove for Kids:  Stomp like an elephant, buzz like a bee!  Shake, wiggle, hop, spin, and sing! Our activities capture the imagination, teach beginning music concepts, and really get the wiggles out. Explore rhythm instruments such as bells, shakers, rhythm sticks, chimes, drums, and more.  Traditional Children’s songs, new songs, classical and world music, instrument and sound exploration, listening activities, and a whole lot of fun!  Make new friends, and share the joy of music with your young child.  Friday, Nov 26, 11-12 a.m. Trailhead Museum, ages 0-6 with parent $6, members free.
Create with Kelly at The Trailhead Children’s Discovery Museum.  Join Kelly, our resident artist, every Wednesday beginning at 10:00 a.m. for a special guided art activity.  The Trailhead is located in the Outpost Building next to the Adventure Park at the base of the ski area in Mt. CB.  Open Wednesday – Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  970-349-7160.
Tumblebugs!  The playgrounds are buried and so it’s Tumblebugs time! Tumblebugs is a two hour play time for parents and children ages 0 – 3 years old. Come to Jerry’s Gym from 9:00 am – 11:00 am to run around and play with new friends and toys. This is a drop-in program, $5 per session, and discounted punch cards are available. Questions? New New New Storytimes at the Old Rock Library!  Mondays AND Fridays at 10:30 for ages 3 and up, and continuing Wednesdays at 11:15 for babies and toddlers. Library storytimes will highlight the 6 early literacy skills recommended by the American Library Association, as well as incorporate titles from the Children’s Book List by the Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning.
