Cottonwood closing November 1

Kebler open—for now

Cottonwood Pass will be closing on Friday, November 1 for the winter season. Maintenance and plowing will be done through October 31. According to Gunnison County Public Works director Marlene Crosby, there are no plans to close Kebler Pass at this time. Plowing and maintenance are continuing on Kebler Pass until further notice, although travelers are advised to exercise caution and take your time in this early winter weather.
