To encourage greater participation in the Citizen Races, there’s an element of good-spirited competition, with points awarded across the series. Points will be accrued in each of the five races, with the top five cumulative point winners receiving awards for their outstanding commitment to Nordic racing in Crested Butte.
This year, the Magic Meadows Half-Dozen will be incorporated as the third Citizen Race on January 10. Come out and support the Crested Butte Nordic Team and see how many laps you can ski in six hours. Registration for this event may be made online. A fee of $25 will be collected online.
