Monarch opening Friday for skiing

Due to a recent storm cycle, Monarch Mountain will open early this year. Opening day has been set for Friday, November 16 for normal operating hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The new Tubing Park will not be open Friday but opening day for that will be announced soon.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled for an early opening this year. We did our snow dances and Mother Nature delivered. You can feel it in the air up here at Monarch, the excitement and the passion as our dedicated staff is now buzzing around getting everything ready for Friday. We hope to see you then,” says Randy Stroud, general manager of Monarch Mountain.

Early season pass pricing has been extended through opening day in celebration of Monarch’s early opening. Adult season passes will remain $479 through November 16.
