CBCS’s Enrichment full of thanks

To the Editor:
The Enrichment Program of the Crested Butte Community School would like to thank all the individuals, families, businesses, and organizations who contributed to our program this year.

Thank you to the following community foundations and organizations for supporting our program: Community Foundation of the Gunnison Valley, Rotary Club of Crested Butte, Crested Butte Arts Festival, the Pine Tree Foundation, the CBCS PTSA, and the Crested Butte Friends of the Library.

As many of you know, the Enrichment Program has carried out an annual fundraising program and sought private grants to fund the Enrichment Teacher salary as well as to fund school-wide assemblies, performances, and resources. We are happy to announce that, as of the 2009-10 school year, the Gunnison Watershed School District will fully fund the Enrichment Teacher salary and benefits. The Enrichment Program continues, however, to rely solely on funding from private donations and grants to support special artistic and cultural activities, including school assemblies, performances, and artist-in-residence programs.
Thank you for your continued support of these enriching experiences for our students through the Enrichment Program. Have a wonderful summer!
