This week Vail Resorts announced plans for summer operations at its five Colorado resorts, including Crested Butte Mountain Resort. CBMR’s summer season will kick off on June 12.

According to a Vail press release, CBMR summer services will run through September 6, and include the Mountain Bike Park, Mountain Sports Team youth programming, hiking and scenic rides on the Silver Queen and Red Lady Express lifts. There will be bike hauls on the Red Lady Express.

“Following a reduced operating footprint last summer, guests can look forward to more activities on tap at the resorts for the upcoming summer season,” said CBMR senior communications specialist Will Shoemaker.

According to the release, health and safety will remain Vail Resorts’ top priority and each resort will be operating according to local public health orders and following their guidance as it relates to face coverings. “We encourage everyone to follow CDC guidelines as the pandemic continues to evolve,” it said.

More information will become available on CBMR’s website closer to the start of summer operations.
