Panthers hockey on a roll

Home games this weekend

Crested Butte Panther U10/12 House team is on a roll with two more wins this past weekend in Telluride. The Panthers won the games  5-1 and  5-2.

This is the developmental team for the Panther girl’s squad. Izzie Dethloff had three goals, Lauren Yehle banged in a rebound for her second goal of the season while Elizabeth Stepanek and Kendl Santelli finished off the Telluride Lizards with three goals each. Santelli had a brilliant short handed goal in the second game to take the wind out of the Telluride squad who came out on fire scoring early on Panther goalie Monika Olesen. Olesen was a bit shaky in net but managed two more victories this season.
Coach John Dethloff was very impressed with the steady defensive play from Ryan Carroll.
Crested Butte Panther U12 and U14 teams play their only home games of the season this weekend, weather permitting, at Big Mine on Saturday, January 24 at 4:30 and 6 p.m. Two more games are scheduled for Sunday, January 25 at 8 and 9:30 a.m. for the weekend series vs. Colorado Select.
