Council votes to hire Crossett as town manager

Split vote

The Crested Butte town council voted Monday to hire Polson, Montana city manager Todd Crossett as the new Crested Butte town manager. The council voted 6-1 for the hire with councilperson Shaun Matusewicz voting against the move. Crossett’s contract was not renewed by the city commission in Polson and expires June 1. Town attorney John Belkin will draft a formal contract and it is expected that Crossett will start the new job by early June. For more details, see this Thursday’s edition of the Crested Butte News.
