Few details and apparently a few teeth missing

A man who was skiing at Crested Butte Mountain Resort last Thursday, March 21, apparently decided to jump off a ski lift and ended up injuring himself.
After receiving several reports of the incident the Crested Butte News asked CBMR for details. As is the new policy under Vail Resorts ownership, details were not forthcoming.
“At approximately noon on Thursday, March 21, a male skier voluntarily jumped from a chairlift at Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) and was transported by CBMR Ski Patrol to the Gunnison Valley Health Mountain Clinic for minor injuries,” read a statement from CBMR senior communications specialist Zach Pickett after an inquiry from the newspaper. “Crested Butte Mountain Resort places the highest emphasis on guest safety, and reminds skiers and riders to observe all posted signs when utilizing chairlifts.”
Reports received by the News indicate the man left the Silver Queen chairlift as he was riding up over the Hot Rocks area and ended up with some facial injuries and fewer teeth. The ski area would not confirm the location, the height of the jump, or the name, age or extent of injuries received by the skier.
The Mt. Crested Butte police department said they were not aware of the incident.
